Stoddard is governed by a village board consisting of seven trustees, including the village president. Our village board serves as the executive officer and legislative body of the village. The village president and the trustees are elected at large.

Stoddard is a member of the Wisconsin League of Municipalities, an organization that provides information resources to the people elected and appointed to govern cities and villages, and helps advocate for state laws and policies that support local government and local control.
